Spirits of the West entering upon the wind,
We greet you and salute you; we welcome you into our hearts.
Enter our circle in perfect love and in perfect trust.
Dance with us, the banishing dance, widdershins as we go,
Prancing the circle in reverse, rounding ’round as we go,
Unbinding and freeing ourselves from the negative bonds that bound us so,
Cast off the shadows of doubt that clouds our mind and muddy our hearts,
Cast off the shackles around our ankles and free our soaring souls!
Spirits of the South, resting in the land of courage and creativity,
Dance the circle ’round, widdershins as we go,
Free our souls, our minds and our hearts,
Grant us the courage to live our life with your divine spark,
Creating the circle ’round, widdershins as we go!
Spirits of the East, the land where all things begin anew,
Clear our minds and our intellects, widdershins as we go.
Dance the circle ’round freeing ourselves from mental clutter,
Refreshing our minds and recharging our intellects, widdershins as we go!
Spirits of the North, the land of death and mystery,
Lend us strength to banish our rivals and the knowledge to tell a friend from a foe,
Dance within our hearts, widdershins as we go!
Dance the circle ’round prancing upon the wind,
Where strength and stability has been found here once again, widdershins as we go!
We have danced the circle ’round, widdershins as we go,
Casting off our enemies, widdershins as we go,
We have created a safe space between our world and the next, widdershins as we go,
We are free from troubling doubt, widdershins as we go!
We have broken down the walls of deceit, and set our feet upon our path,
We will now rebuild our circle with our brothers and our sisters,
Dancing once again the Spiral dance, flowing in synch with the divine life force.
We open our minds and our hearts,
We open our circles unbroken from the start,
We stoke our hearths with embers of never ending courage,
We greet you and salute you with a kiss thrice upon the cheek,
If you be a friend enter in perfect love and in perfect trust,
If you be a foe turn now and flee our sacred circle,
For merry we meet and merry we part,
and merry may we meet again!
Blessed Be, Phelan
